During the harsh winter months, homeless shelters become completely full very quickly - forcing many individuals to sleep outside.  As someone who has lived this life, I understand the day-to-day struggle homeless individuals face.

 

In an effort to help keep individuals warm, Ricky's Hope has begun The Blankets and Coats 4 The Homeless Campaign. We are collecting blankets and coats to give to individuals in addition to supply kits.  These supply kits contain items that will assist with the personal hygiene needs of homeless men, women and children. Recently, we passed out a few kits and in doing so God showed me how deep the need truly is and it also made me remember how wonderful it felt when someone cared enough to help me.

 

As the winter months wind down, we will still be giving out supply kits and snack bags. The goal of Ricky's Hope is to reach across the country and connect with other individuals and organizations to make this a nationwide outreach...but let’s start from the beginning and work on the rest
